At Care-a-lot, safety is our number one priority.

Screening
Procedures

All individuals who enter the facility are screened for a temperature greater than 100 degrees using a no-contact thermometer and are asked COVID-19 screening questions. Any individuals exhibiting any symptoms are not permitted to enter the facility.

Cleaning and Sanitization Procedures

Classrooms, materials, and equipment are cleaned frequently on a rotating schedule throughout the day using both a cleaning solution of warm soapy water and a sanitizing solution of bleach water. Floors are mopped and vacuumed twice a day.

Social Distance Procedures for Drop Off & Pick Up

Social distance procedures for drop off and pick up have been implemented at all Care-a-lot locations limiting exposure between staff, families, and children.

Face Covering
Policy

Face coverings are required for children 2 years and older who enter the facility. Staff and any individuals entering the facility must wear face coverings at all times. Children must wear face coverings whenever they are moving around the building and when they are not in their home classrooms.

Virtual Meetings
and Conferences

Care-a-lot has moved all parent/ teacher conferences, staff development days on line. To limit the spread of COVID-19 but remain connected and continue professional development, Care-a-lot has moved all parent-teacher conferences and staff development days on line.

Sanitation
Stations

Sanitation stations are set up at every entry with hand sanitizer and bleach water. High traffic touchpoints are sanitized every hour to reduce to spread of COVID-19 and all individuals who enter the facility are asked to used hand sanitizer before entering the facility.
